Billy Ray Hatley & The Show Dogs and sister band Big City have been entertaining enthusiastic Richmond crowds for over 23 years and they’re still going strong. BRH & The Show Dogs feature a musical taste for memorable and original Americana roots music while Big City features a taste for steamy electric house rocking blues.

Billy Ray Hatley & The Show Dogs have released three CD’s to date featuring Billy Ray’s unique songwriting and the finesse of his “roots” fired four piece band. The CD’s are:

Big City meanwhile, features old time favorite rockn’roll and blues covers along with Billy Ray’s unique bluesy style of writing and playing. The band has released two CD’s to date featuring both covers and Billy Ray’s originals backed up by a well accomplished lineup of musicians including some of Richmond’s best known artists and musicians alike. One of Billy Ray Hatley's heroes growing up was none other than the showman and songster himself, Elvis' Presley.

BRH's inspiration often comes from these influences, especially evident in the original masterpiece BRH wrote, dubbed "Elvis' Motorcycle."
